Q: What is the cost to attend the Conference?
An individual early registration costs $150 for non-members and $135 for members, after August 31 registration costs $175 for non-members and $150 for members, after September 17 all registrations must be done on site and the cost $200 for non-members and $175 for members.  That includes admission to all events and meals for both days of the conference.

Q: Where will the conference take place?
The conference is held at MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit, MI.

Q: Who should attend the Conference?
Women business owners, corporate buyers, supplier diversity professionals from the private and the public sector, as well as other small business owners and government officials.

Q: What can I expect in corporate-to-WBE Networking?
Our breakfasts, lunches and dinner/reception are set up for networking.  Also, the Women's WORKS and Women's WORKS Mixer are designed for face-to-face networking with purchasing executives with no appointments needed.

Q: What can I expect in WBE-to-WBE networking?

Q: Is there overnight accommodations if I am coming from out of town?
Yes, WBEC-Great Lakes has a group of rooms reserved at MotorCity Casino Hotel.  Rooms are $129.  Call and book your room before September 1st, 2009 in order to receive the group rate.  To book, call (866) 782·9622 and specify the event - Great Lakes Women's Business Conference. 

Q: Is food provided at the conference?
Yes, continental breakfast and lunch is provided both days. We will have a reception on Tuesday evening with appetizers provided.

Q: Where should I park?
Free Parking & free Valet Parking is provided on site at MotorCity Casino Hotel.

Q: If I am exhibiting at the Women'sWORKS event when can I set up?
Exhibitors can start setting up on Wednesday, September 23 at 7:30 a.m.

Q: If I am not a certified WBE, can I exhibit?
No, but you may attend the conference.

Q: Can I pay for only one day of the Conference?

No, our conference price includes both days - and is at a very low cost.

Q: Can I be invoiced for my conference registration?
Our corporate & WBE sponsors can be invoiced, all other registrations must be paid for at time of purchase.
