The Eastern Washtenaw MicroLoan Fund objective is to assist existing and
start up small businesses who cannot obtain conventional financing.
The Micro loans will range from $ 500 - $ 35,000.
Many small businesses know the difficulty of obtaining financing from conventional
sources, due to lack of capital, no credit, and insufficient collateral. While entrepreneurs,
especially women and minorities, may demonstrate the ability to operate successfully,
their lack of access to traditional financing requires alternative sources of financing.
This program will remove these barriers and provide access to needed funds.
CEED is one of the first micro lenders in the country since1984, and provides more
than capital assistance CEED provides the tools and resources to build and maintain a
successful business. CEED has worked with every type of conceivable business and
provided them with mentoring, education, and contract opportunities;which empower
business owners to achieve their goals.
